30 Days of Thanksgiving – Day 6

DAY 6: I am grateful for the right to vote and for the women who came before me who fought for that right.

“I never considered a difference of opinion in politics, in religion, in philosophy, as cause for withdrawing from a friend.” ~Thomas Jefferson

SUGGESTED GRATITUDE PRACTICE: Think back on those who came before you and fought the brave fight for the rights you have today. America is founded on generations of brave souls who have stood tall and spoken out despite their fears. Remember them today when you go to cast your vote. Give thanks.

*In honor of the spirit and joy of Thanksgiving, I am taking a moment every day this month to share a little something I’m grateful for. Of course, I’m always grateful for you, my readers. Thank you for taking the time to visit. For more thoughts on gratitude you can see my previous posts here and here.

And just for giggles, I had to add this. I love Batman!
