30 Days of Thanksgiving – Day 1

Ferris Wheel at the Kentucky State Fair, August 2012

DAY 1: I am grateful for opportunities for fun and laughter that exist around every unknown corner.

SUGGESTED GRATITUDE PRACTICE: Have fun! Play in the fall leaves, sing songs, color with crayons, eat your favorite Little Debbie treat, watch a cartoon movie, roller skate, go to an arcade or amusement park, and take time be be present with children or pets. Be a child again, get happy.

If you need some inspiration, here is one of my favorite little musical numbers from Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand, “Happy Days Are Here Again, Get Happy”…

*In honor of the spirit and joy of Thanksgiving, I am taking a moment every day this month to share a little something I’m grateful for. Of course, I’m always grateful for you, my readers. Thank you for taking the time to visit. For more thoughts on gratitude you can see my previous posts here and here.
