My Article in Edible Louisville – Hurrah!

The January/February 2012 edition of Edible Louisville is out and I am totally stoked because yours truly was given the wonderful opportunity to write an article for the publication. The article focuses on the Kentucky Food Bloggers, a group I joined last year that writes about the love of food and farming across the Bluegrass state.

An electronic version of the latest magazine will be online soon, but in the meantime I’ve scanned in a pdf of the article for your reading enjoyment: Kentucky Food Bloggers: Women Build Community in Virtual Kitchen Across the Bluegrass.

I’ve been a fan of Edible Communities publications since I first discovered them in Portland, Oregon years ago. As I’ve moved and traveled around the country I’ve counted on the Edible publications to guide me through the local food and farming scene. They’ve never steered me in the wrong direction.

A tremendous wave of gratitude to Steve Makela (the Publisher for the Louisville edition) and his team for giving me the opportunity and making the article look great. You can subscribe to email newsletters filled with great information on their site, and follow them on Facebook and Twitter. Paper copies of the publication are available in local stores and restaurants, and can be ordered online.

      Hi Joyce, thanks, I love these groups and they do keep me going on my own blog. Blogging can be a lonely pursuit, and I agree these groups are such a tremendous inspiration. Good to be surrounded by good folks, even in a virtual world.
